Town Manager
Eric A. Duthie
Eric A. Duthie is a native Arizonan and came to Taylor after serving for more than 4 years as City Manager in St. Johns, a neighbor in the beautiful White Mountains. Eric completed a distinguished law enforcement career, culminating as a Police Chief.
Eric, his wife Susan, and their children chose Taylor after visiting many times and being impressed with the spirit of fellowship and cooperation displayed by the close-knit and family-oriented residents.
Taylor prides itself in patriotic traditions and in pioneer heritage that champions traditional values of community and family support. These values parallel those of Eric and Susan, as both have pioneer ancestors and hold strong patriotic views.
Eric’s overall goal is to continually improve town government and prove that caring deeply about the health, peace and security of each resident and guest is not an impossibility. Through collaboration, open discussion, honesty and creativity, all can enjoy the tranquil, satisfying quality of life that most people only dream of.
Preparing for rapid and continued growth through a strengthened infrastructure, professionalism and sustained economic growth, while maintaining the “small town” feel is the focus of Eric’s task as Town Manager. Come visit for a day and you’ll find the Town of Taylor is the clear choice for your better life.
